How proceeds are used:
In 2023, £754,673.00 was raised from ticket sales in our Weekly Lotteries & Super Draws, with 5.54% spent on prizes, 74.15% spent on expenses and a fantastic 20.32% being used to fund vital medical research across the UK, to help beat diseases that devastate children's lives and improve lives for children living with disability and disabling conditions (Based on the Lottery Submissions made by Action Medical Research to the Gambling Commission, during the 2023 calendar year). The majority of the remaining Proceeds were used to help grow the number of people supporting our Lottery each week - so together we can save and change even more children's lives in the future.
The likelihood of winning a prize:
The likelihood of winning a prize in 2023, on average was, 1 in 465 in our weekly lotteries and 1 in 536 in our Super Draws. Players in our weekly lotteries are also automatically entered into a weekly Rollover draw in which they could win up to £10,000. Our Rollover prize increases by £150 each week it isn't won (in 2023, the likelihood of winning was, on average, 1 in 726,649) and if it reached £10,000, then one lucky player will be guaranteed to win that week (when the likelihood of winning reverts to the aforementioned weekly lottery average).
